2023 UCAT Stats (Old UCAT):
Old UCAT scores are combined with GCSE points to produce a total score out of 82 for interview ranking. SJT Band 4 is automatically rejected.
Interviews are online MMIs with 6 stations, including at least one role-play, lasting up to 1 hour. They assess communication, teamwork, and professionalism.
The personal statement is not scored for shortlisting, but is reviewed after interview alongside references to check suitability for medicine.
A-Levels: AAA, including Biology and Chemistry. GCSEs: minimum 6 subjects at Grade 7, including Sciences, Maths, and English. Top 8 GCSEs contribute to scoring.
GCSE resits are not allowed. A-Level resits for up to 2 subjects are permitted if original grades were ABB with at least one A in Biology or Chemistry, achieving AAA post-resit.
