Bangor University is a new medical school, welcoming its first undergraduate cohort in September 2024. Here’s what you need to know about their admissions process.

Selection Process

  • UCAT: While Bangor doesn’t have a minimum UCAT score threshold, the UCAT score is part of the selection process and will be considered.

The Interview

Bangor’s interview format consists of Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs), which will be conducted online via Zoom. The interview includes:

The questions will assess personal qualities and attributes deemed important for doctors, as outlined in the GMC's Good Medical Practice.
A final score is determined by combining the results from both the written station and verbal MMI stations.
