University of Aberdeen Medicine Admissions: Key Insights
The University of Aberdeen follows a holistic approach to assess applicants for its medical school, weighing three key factors to determine offer decisions.
The highest total scores across these areas determine which applicants will receive an offer.
Aberdeen conducts a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) consisting of five-minute stations with two interviewers at each station. The total duration is approximately one hour. Interview topics include:

There are 279 places available for the Medicine course at the University of Aberdeen.
The MMI consists of multiple stations, each lasting five minutes, with topics such as motivation, critical thinking, teamwork, and professionalism.
Resits are generally not accepted unless there are extenuating circumstances. You should aim to achieve AAA in your first sitting.
You need AAA in A-Levels, including Chemistry, and one subject from Biology, Maths, or Physics. GCSE Grade 6 is required in English Language and Maths.
