Anglia Ruskin University evaluates applicants for its Medicine programme through a structured, three-phase selection process.
While not directly scored, the personal statement may inform discussions during the MMIs. Interviewers may explore:
Anglia Ruskin uses Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) with six stations, each lasting seven minutes plus one minute reading time. Stations assess:
UCAT scores are used to rank applicants meeting academic requirements. No minimum threshold exists beyond the interview cutoffs for each year.
The MMI consists of six stations (7 minutes each, 1-minute reading time) evaluating communication, teamwork, motivation, critical thinking, ethics, and integrity.
It’s not directly scored but may be referenced in interviews to assess motivation, understanding of the medical profession, and work experience.
GCSE resits are accepted under certain circumstances; A-Level resits are only allowed if initial results meet specific conditions (AAB first sitting or BBB as a WP student).
AAA at A-Level, including Chemistry/Biology and another science; five GCSEs at grades A*-B, including English, Maths, and two sciences.
