Cardiff University Medicine Admissions Guide

Learn about Cardiff University Medicine admissions, including UCAT scores, interview format, and academic requirements for 2025 entry.

Selection Process

Cardiff University employs a complex admissions process, considering both academic and non-academic factors to select candidates for interview. The process involves:

  • Stage 1: Checking that applicants meet the minimum academic requirements for GCSEs and A-Levels, have submitted an acceptable personal statement (PS), and have completed the UCAT.
  • Stage 2: Applications are scored based on academic qualifications (GCSEs, A-Levels) and other factors like the PS and teacher’s reference. The highest scoring applicants are invited to interview.
